Additionally, it contributes significantly to the region’s economic development. However, there are widespread opportunities for the sector to develop to better meet the needs of seniors in the Kimberley.

As part of the Commission’s continued advocacy for long-term regional support and growth, we are proud to release our latest report, Aged Care in the Kimberley. This report explores the sector’s existing capacity and characteristics, identifies key challenges, assesses demand and potential for sector growth and highlights actions being taken at local, state, and national levels to address these issues.
