Temperature in the Kimberley

Wet Season
Average maximum temperatures exceed 35C in November and December, other than in some coastal parts. The highest temperatures occur in inland parts of the southwest Kimberley in these months before the monsoon brings increased cloudiness and humidity.


Dry Season
Winter maximum temperatures average about 30C and are highest in the north and lowest in the south. Overnight temperatures during winter generally remain above 20C in northern coastal parts but can often drop to below 5C in the high plateau regions.
