| KIMBERLEY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS 2010 |
The Kimberley Development Commission invites applications for two Research Scholarships of $10,000 each to be made available in the first half of the 2010 Academic Year.
Each Research Scholarship is available to support an individual to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate research with expected outcomes that will promote sustainable development in the Kimberley .
The over-riding objectives of the Commission's Research Scholarship Program are to:
- promote undergraduate and postgraduate research which yields regional benefits in the Kimberley;
- establish the Kimberley as a region which promotes academic excellence by facilitating, encouraging and supporting
Kimberley people to undertake research inside or outside the region, which may subsequently be used for the advancement of sustainable development within the Kimberley .
Applicants must be enrolled or affiliated with a Tertiary Institution for the duration of the research and applications will be assessed against Researcher and Research Topic Criteria (detailed in the Guidelines).
