Tourism is one of the Kimberley's iconic industries.

Tourism data is often hard to quantify due to the far reaching nature of expenditure.

Tourism Australia have provide a range of interesting data for the region known as Austrlia's North West which incorporates the Kimberley and Pilbara regions.

Tourism WA have produced an Overnight Visitor Fact Sheet for the Kimberley region.

It should be noted that data is derived from the National and International Visitor Survey  and subject to sampling variability particulalry in smaller regions such as the Kimberley.
